ON SUNDAYS... We have two main services. At 8.00 a.m. there is
Eucharist in the Lady Chapel. This follows the traditional Book of Common
Prayer. Then at 10.00 a.m. there is Celebration Eucharist in the central body of
the church, for which we use a variety of modern forms of worship.
From time to time we have special themed services in the afternoon or
evening. Recent themes have been celebration of marriage, commemoration services
for lost loved ones, thanksgiving for pets, for chocolate and for fish and
chips.
On the first Sunday of every month we have an evening Prayer and Praise
Service, a time to be quiet, joyful and to enjoy God.
CHILDREN… are very welcome. We have all ages, from babes in arms to
teenagers. Special facilities are laid on for them during the main 10.00 a.m.
service.
On the first Sunday in the month we have an All Age service to include the
children. Other weeks we have Godly Play for the toddlers and Junior Church for
older ones.
WEEKDAYS: Services are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Full details are
in our Parish Information booklet.
Music
The music for our services is provided by a group of members who play a
variety of instruments. At present we have keyboard, guitar, bassoon,
saxophone, percussion, flute, trumpet, clarinet , piano and vocalists.
