St Michael and All Angels, Eastbourne

Seeking God's Kingdom, Serving God's People

Welcome to Our

Update of repairs to St Michael and All Angels Church following the lightning strike on 22nd June
We now have water and electricity restored to the Hub. This week we will be holding the 10.30am Thursday morning Eucharist and our normal 10am Sunday Celebration Eucharist in the Hub. This will be followed on Sunday by the official opening of the Hub at 12.00 noon.

The 8.00am Sunday BCP service is sadly cancelled for this week.

The Church will have to remain closed at least for the coming weekend.

Hopefully we will be able to update you more on Sunday.

Hope to see as many of you as possible in the Hub.

Love and blessings,
Church Wardens

Our Mission Action Plan

Part of our Mission Action Plan for 2017 - 2018 is to be a genuinely praying Church through daily personal prayer and actively participate in events such as 24 hour Prayer Vigils, Monthly Retreats and Monthly Renewal Prayer Meetings.

New to Prayer?

Prayer is a conversation between you and God.  You don't have to use set words, just tell Him what is in your heart, He will listen.  Prayer can happen any time of the day; it can be short or long; you can pray standing up, sitting down, walking, kneeling, lying down - wherever you can be comfortable.

Prayer changes lives, it brings us closer to our Lord Jesus Christ, and helps us experience His love for us.

  Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever.
