St Michael and All Angels is a friendly and welcoming Anglican Church about 1 mile north of Eastbourne town centre. Our Mission Statement is: Seeking God, Serving People.

St Michael and All Angels has Anglo Catholic roots alongside a Renewed Charismatic heritage. This is reflected in our worship which has an evangelical/charismatic flavour alongside its Anglo Catholic tradition. Worshipping at St Michael and All Angels is a unique experience which confirms that different traditions could be mixed rather than separated when we worship God. In fact, we are a Church family that is a real mixture of people from all sorts of traditions and backgrounds but with the Eucharist at the very centre and heart of our worship.

We are committed to building a mission community shaped by God’s Word and His Holy Spirit, equipped to bear witness to Christ in a needy world. We aim to promote and develop prayer as the priority and key to renewal and spiritual growth.

Our services are friendly and informal, spiritual and contemplative, as we seek to "worship the Lord in the beauty of his holiness." If you live in Eastbourne or are just visiting the area, you are very welcome to join us at any of our services or events.

We utterly believe that Jesus Christ is the Only Answer to every human dilemma and question. We want to fix our gaze on Jesus as we try to spread his 'good news' in the community. We trust utterly in the words of Jesus, “Seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be yours as well.” (Matthew 6.33, Luke 12.31). We want to live by faith, hope and love knowing that “if we take our delight in the Lord he will grant us all the desires of our hearts” (cf. Psalm 37.4)

I hope this website will supply you with all the information you require about our Church. May God bless you!

Father Sebastian, Vicar
